The Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board was founded in 1949 by Barrister Hotchand G. Advani and Principal K. M.Kundnani. Both these eminent personalities played a pioneering role in the field of higher education in Mumbai.Beginning with conventional degree courses, the HSNC Board continued to set up institutions of specialized learning. Today, the Board manages a chain of professional, vocational and job oriented courses in various disciplines, and is the largest educational corpus in Mumbai.The Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board has a tradition of academic excellence that runs right through an interdisciplinary curriculum: Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Pharmacy, Engineering, Computers, Management and Polytechnics.

The HSNC Board manages 29 educational institutions including secondary and higher secondary schools, polytechnics, degree and post-graduate colleges with over 2,500 teaching faculties and over 50,000 students. The Board is managed by a dedicated team of professionals led by the President, Mr. Anil Harish. Appropriate committees have been set up to provide a dynamic and vibrant environment for the colleges and institutes of the Board. The committees monitor academic standards & also organize faculty development programmes.

The Board also provides international education programmes abroad for its faculty and students and receives foreign faculty and students in Mumbai. It orients students in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Active placement facilities and alumni association are well organized.
